My name is Isidro and I am a PhD student at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT) in Madrid under the supervision of Profs. Alberto Enciso and Daniel Peralta-Salas. My work is supported by a scholarship from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

I am a double major in Mathematics and Physics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), where I also got a master’s degree in Advanced Mathematics.
I will be teaching the problem sessions for the courses Algebra II and Analysis II from the Physics major at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in spring 2026 (group 516).
My research deals with the interplay between dynamical systems and partial differential equations that arises in fluid mechanics and plasma physics.
Some particular topics I am currently interested in are:
Short talk at the XVII International ICMAT Summer School on Geometry, Dynamics and Field theory. Title: Topological and Dynamical Aspects of 2D Fluids. Madrid, June 2025.
Talk at the Coloquio Junior de Matemáticas ICMAT-UAM-UC3M-UAM. Title*:* A Geometric Introduction to Morse Theory. Madrid, May 2025.
